Holiday Cards for Senior Citizens December 2020

December 8, 2020

Greetings, Aiken High School Rotary Interact Club Heroes!

Our club has a special relationship with the residents of the Hitchcock Place assisted living facility here in Aiken.

However, because of COVID 19, we cannot visit our senior friends who live there, so we will be sending them holiday/Christmas cards to try to brighten their lives just a bit.

We need to write about 35 cards. Please stop by room C 157 for one or more cards. (Instructions below.)

Sincerely,

P.S. These instructions will help:

  1. Pick up at least one card from room C-157.
  2. Write a nice message in the card(s). Keep is simple. For example:
    December 2020

    Happy Holidays!

My name is Art Lader and I am a German teacher at Aiken High School.

May the Christmas season fill your heart with joy and your life with laughter.

    Sincerely,
    Art Lader

  3. Return completed card(s) to room C-157 on or before December 16, 2020. Note: Please do not seal the cards in an envelope.
  4. Here are some Classic Christmas Card Messages – Source: https://www.shutterfly.com/ideas/christmas-card-wording/

Using a classic Christmas card message or saying is a great way to spread the spirit of the holiday season. A classic Christmas card message is perfect for just about everyone on your list. You can use a short saying or pair a few together to craft a more meaningful greeting.

Greetings, Aiken High School Rotary Interact Club Heroes!

Thank you so much to all who volunteered at last night’s Night of 1,000 Lights! It was a beautiful event and your setting up and cleaning up helped make it possible.

By the end of the evening, it was cold out, but we still had a lot of fun and served our community well.

As always, I am proud of you and grateful to be your sponsor!

Sincerely,
